Hi, I'm Hannah - a life coach based in Amsterdam.
I offer life coaching services at my calm practice in Amsterdam, or online video call (so you can work with me from anywhere!).
My mission is to help you be more you, and be more fulfilled + successful because of it.
Life coaching can cover many aspects of personal life, from self-esteem, health or identity, to relationships and work.
I believe life coaching should be safe, confidential + non-judgemental.
I hold this space for you so that you feel free to explore + move through whatever you want or need to move through.
WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?
A life coach works with people on a range of personal and professional topics. For example, I can work with you on things like change, stress, relationships, work life balance, boundary setting + career changes.
Life coaches provide a safe space for you to explore where you are, where you want to go, what is holding you back, and what you can work on to get there.
Life coaching is distinct from counselling, therapy, mentoring, and consulting. It is not a substitute for mental health care.
I am also not here to tell you what to do!
The main purpose is to be a thinking partner for you to explore + facilitate your own creativity + answers so that you can build your self-trust and self take your next step.
When you are looking for a life coach, check they are qualified with an accredited body (like the International Coaching Federation) who holds them to certain standards of training, practice + ethics.

HOW DOES LIFE COACHING with me WORK?
Deep-dive Intro session
(2-hr)
A 2-hr session to explore everything that's going on for you and your goals.
You'll complete a reflective worksheet beforehand.
This session creates the groundwork for our work together.
Holding session / Another block /
One off sessions
Once you finish your block, you may feel happy with where we get to and choose to wrap it up.
There is also the option for:
a) Holding Session-
We review + note down the insights, tools + other things that will keep you on track
b) Another Block-
Coaching can be like a ball of string. You may want to keep unravelling something and keep up the work
c) One Off Sessions-
If you'd like to dip back in every now and then, I offer one off sessions to work or move through anything on your mind

Regular (1-hr) sessions
Depending on your goals + situation, you can sign up for 3 or 6 months of bi-weekly sessions.
The content + approach is tailored to you + your needs.
Perhaps interactive tools in session, journaling exercises between sessions, or simply talking.

Sometimes a 6 or 12 month break is nice before another stint of coaching work.

But when is the right time?
Often people wait until they're in a sticky situation, or things have gotten a little too bad. If you're in this place, then you might need a life coach to help you explore what got you here, and how you want to move through + out of it.
I believe working with a life coach is also great when things feel pretty good, too. Life coaching can take your life and how you feel about it from "fine" or "good", to "fricking exciting!" and "I don't know why I went along with it like it was for so long".
Only you know when the right time is to get a life coach, but if you're considering it...
MY APPROACH TO LIFE COACHING
I take an integrative approach, drawing on a range of experience to tailor our work to you:
I am trained as a professional business + personal coach with Barefoot Coaching, the International Coaching Federation, and University of Chester.
The qualification is also endorsed by the National Council of Psychotherapists. It combines psychological depth, academic rigour and a very practical focus.
Theories I have been trained in, and draw upon a lot in my coaching approach are Nancy Klein's 'Time to Think' theory, Gestalt techniques, person-centred and emotion-focused techniques, journaling, somatic/embodied exploration, and CBT-informed coaching.
I'm a certified 400hr advanced yoga teacher via Stretch London. A 250hr Vinyasa training, and more recently, a 150hr Advanced Teacher Yoga Therapy training.
I am well versed in holding space for both you and your body. Where we spend a lot of time talking in coaching, it can be nice to 'get out of your head' and ground in to + integrate with your body.
I can bring in body work, breath + meditative visualisations, if it interests you.

I have 10 years of professional advertising + communication experience under my belt. I have worked, (and still freelance) as a brand strategist in creative agencies.
I help brands find their 'thing' and then talk about it in a way that feels good and makes business sense.
I've worked with companies like eBay, Tinder, Google, Very.co.uk, Heineken + Danone.
This is the experience I bring to my business coaching or brand consulting clients. It also flexes quite nicely as personal strategy for my life coaching clients!
